How to change a watch strap
Identify the attachment, release the correct part and check that both tips are seated. Illustrated instructions for quick-release bars, conventional bars and nylon pass-through straps.

The IWC Schaffhausen Pilot's Watch Mark XII Yellow Gold / Black / Strap takes a 18 mm strap: measure between the lugs and that is the only number you need. We list 31 straps in that width. A field or pilot watch at heart, it suits canvas, nylon and matte leather more than polished calf. With a 36 mm case and 60 m of water resistance, a strap of medium thickness keeps the balance. Most straps here come with quick-release spring bars, so the swap takes a minute and no tool.
Width is a starting point. Check the case and end fittings before choosing.
